This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Thank you for doing this it is really helpfull and I would like to say your work is really good I just hope I can try to make your teaching and make my own art stilel out of it it's is your art stilel and i do not want to steal your mojo so I will try to do what I can with the three 0 that you say that you use but if I di make my own i will be shere to post it so you can see one of your students flurish (hopefuly) thank you so much
I'm sure you can develop your own "style" that's different than mine. but part of learning is copying. Try to draw your favorite characters, draw like others tell you. Eventually you will develop your OWN method. And when your pictures FINALLY look like something new, you will know that you've found yourself.
On that note though, remember this. Someone once told me - don't ever TRY TO EMULATE someone in your own PROFESSIONAL work. Don't try to make your characters look like DBZ, EVA, Sailor Moon, whatever characters. If you spend all your time trying to draw in someone's style (lets say Tetsuya Nomura from Square-Enix) you'll only ever be the SECOND BEST Tetsuya Nomura.
So copy when learning, but always develop your own style. It might take years, but it will be worth it in the end, when someone sees your work and says oh, that looks like (YOUR NAME) and not, wow, that person draws almost as good as (PERSON YOU COPIED).
thank you for your time and your kind words I am happy that you took time out to talk to me by the way my name is Mike and I thank you I think I am getting the hang of what you are saying I just started to draw again I stoped for three years so it is like I am doing it all over again but I always try to make something my own even if I just copy the base of a drawing I will try to modify it to my liking but thank you you gave me the will to push on and finish my own works that only ever get hafl way done dod you have something you do to push yourself that little bit more so you can finish your work cuz that is what I alwas run in to ?
When I get stuck, just draw something else. If you're not getting paid or don't have a deadline there's nothing wrong with putting something aside for a while. Sometimes you have off-days where nothing in your mind makes it onto paper.
Be VERY CAREFUL about modifying your copies to make it your own. Always be sure that when you modify copies - you are CERTAIN to call it "This is a [Gundam Character, whatever] in my style." If you copy a drawing and modify it to make it your own, and call it "original content" or an "original character" you are actually stealing. It's okay to use things as reference, but TOO MANY PEOPLE on deviantart like to try to recolor, or have the same character with a slightly different hairstyle, or slightly different eyes and call it their own.
My advice is always draw from scratch when you're making original characters. That way you KNOW theyre original. Looking at a POSE is okay. But copying the body type, hairstyle, eye style in any combination of two is going to be a little if-fy.
Well I will keep that in mind and thank you for your wise words of wisdom I hope to show what I have learn but my other computer died and that was the only one I had that had a cd drive and my acer does not so I need a new pc but eh I will get one soon I think but yeah thank you again for your help
